About us

The Royal Spanish Federation of Purebred Associations (RFEAGAS) is pleased to host the ICAR conference in May 2023 in Toledo and wish the attendees an enjoyable and profitable time in Spain. RFEAGAS was established in 1982, celebrating it’s 40 years old anniversary in 2022, with over 115 purebred associations. It represents almost all the purebred animals Spain accounts for, considering the wide biodiversity and genetical material. Since 2013, the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture enabled RFEAGAS as the managing organisation in Spain and 10 years later, we hold the first ICAR conference in Spain, postponed from June 2021 to May 2023 due to the pandemic situation faced worldwide.
